Does anyone have any photos of their corals with brown jelly? I just had to break three heads off my torch coral. Grrrrrrr. Painful, because one of the heads isn't quite split yet, but is perfectly healthy....so far. Cut my losses, I guess.

Here it is on my goni.

Moved it from one side of the tank to the other, 2 days later it was infected and moved to QT, 3 days later, it was gone.

Yes, yes, I know they have a dismal survivability rate in the tank. This one was doing great for 9 months, eating, growing looking good. I'm not sure why the move induced the disease, but seems to have been the case.

Same exact situation with my coral, Phurst. And thanks for the photo. I moved my torch coral and a day later, half the heads were almost totally gone. Bizarre.

phurst I am sure you aware of this, but you have flatworms in your tank (hince the large blob on the glass).

agh, yes good call. If I would have examined the pic closer I would have seen more of it on the glass. Sorry did not mean to scare ya like that. They are nasty little boogers.
