Rust???

Amongst my other problems with my pump, I just found what looks like to be rust coming from the pump. Hmmm.....?????
That can't be good.

There should be epoxy inside that pump to seal it.
There's a thread about your pump's company...look in the aquaeuro USA classic 400 thread and you'll see a contact number and person to speak with for a replacement.

doubtful, but pull the pump out.

If I were to buy a new pump. What pump would be best for my 55 gallon tank/20 gallon sump? How many GPH? Because as you have seen in my other thread my micro-bubbles might be coming from my pump which might be too big.
