Low MG

I have low mag 960

I am dosing randy's two part and yesterday I dosed MG for the first time only half the recommend amount used that chem calculator it suggested 750 ml of mg well i only dosed half. I also dosed CA.

My readings yesterday where
CA 375
Alk 8.43
Mg 960

today I tested mg only and now my mg is 935?

what the heck is happening ?

Also, what type of Mg supplement is being used? Just to be sure, we're discussing the 20g tank in your profile, right?

yeah 20 gallon nano 10 gallon sump

I think i mixed it wrong i bought a kit from twopartsoultion

yeah I mixed the mg soultion in one gallon of water but on their site its says makes 20oz? so I am a little confused I just assumed it was the exact same measurements and randys article

I suspect they divided the chemicals into 20 oz packets. Just add two more packets to your gallon, if you have them, or use about three times as much solution. I wouldn't change Mg more than about 100 ppm per day.
