I know its been asked before, but pls help with DIY stands and canopy

I'm looking for the easiest, DIY stands for complete idiots, with a bare minimum of tools. I've seen many beautifull stand projects on this site, but I really am dumb. Its my first carpentry project ever. I have some plans like this, but I guess I just want a few more idea's before I build it this weekend. Tks

Here is the one i am making now. It is my first one and is coming out well. All i used was a miter saw, level and battery powered drill.
