Green Brittle Star eating my sandsifting star!!!

Has anyone else seen/heard of brittle stars eating sand sifting stars? A couple of week ago I noticed my sand sifting star had lost 2 limbs. This morning as I went to top off the tank I found my Green Brittle star [about 18" diamater] eating a leg of my sand sifting star [4" diameter]. Tonight the poor sand sifter is still alive but down to two legs!!! I got a digital photo. But I need a reminder on how to resize the photo for posting.

They'll eat anything they can catch and overpower, including fish.
