Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find information on the different color varieties of trumpet coral.

I have:
Lavender/Purple Trumpets - Unable to find online
Standard Aqua Green
Light blue/light aqua blue
Candy Cane - Grren center/maroon rim

I've seen the neon green variety and I've heard about a "blue" strain. Anyone know of varieties I missed? Or, where can I find more info/prices on all of these?

Here is my candycane under actinic and natural light so you can see how different lighting can change its appearance. I picked it up for 40 bucks at my LFS. I think I got a good deal.

I love my candy cane, nice light/baby blue color and VERY hardy. I got mine for 15 bucks and have fragged it more times than i can count. These corals act more of less the same regardless of color. Keep an eye out in the sale forum, i see all the colors for sale a lot. Except for lavender, i've never seen a lavender one that wasn't dyed.

Mr. Ugly - those look blue to me, not lavender? probably just the pic, any others you could post? Also if they are lavender how long have you had them?

I've had those for about 2 1/2 years by now. I took the pic using the vidcap on my video camera. The white balance is off, so the pic looks on the blue side. Didn't have a digital camera back then.

I don't have any recent pics, but here are a couple others from before.

And here's a pic taken by the person who I originally got it from.
