Hello, My yellow figi leather has gotten rather large, I would like to frag it a bit, but not sure on the best way to do this, any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

I usually sew leathers to a piece of rubble. Just cut a piece off and use needle and thread to sew it onto the rock. It's simple. Just make sure that you sew far enough into the leather so that they don't just rip through. Make sure you sew it tight enough to make contact with the rock, but loose enough to not rip through the coral.

There are directions with pictures on the GARF site.

I prefer to take the softie out of the main tank for several days, as after cutting it, it will leach toxins which may be detrimental to other corals, until the wound has healed.
I cut the frags off the parent colony and then skewer them with some 80 lb fishing line.
I then attach the fishing line on to some rubble with a rubber band, for a couple of weeks until it attaches.
If the fishing line is too thin, or the pressure from the rubber bands is too great, then the line will cut through the soft coral before it has time to attach. It doesn't have to be very much pressure at all, just enough that it is in contact with the rock will do.
A cable tie will do the same job also, good luck.
