Well to see it my DIY SOLARIS is worth doing I need to have an idea of prices.
We know first generation SOLARIS uses Luxeon III LEDs, the newest units use Luxeon K2.
And the next lamp to come out "AQUAILLUMINATION" uses Seoul semiconductor LEDs which are the brightests and probably the most expensives.
Can somebody get me the price of one bulb of:
Luxeon III
Luxeon K2
Seoul semiconductor
Also in the following graph comparision:
http://www.aquaillumination.com/par.html
There is something that is confusing me, is that the par produced by 2x2 array of luxeons? meaning the par produced by 4 luxeon bulbs?.
And what do they mean by seoul semiconductor triple lens?, 3 bulbs?
