Good day everyone..

my 72 gal tank is currently 2 months old now and I am planning to add more cure fiji lr into it..
right now I have about 50lb LR and 80lb ls. I do have 4 fishes and some corals in the tank... I am planning to buy the fiji Lr(cured with lots of coraline algea, very colorful) from my LFs which is about 15 min drive from my home...Can I add about 10lb of the LR and will it cause any chemistry change to my tank????
please advise????

If the rock is fully cured and established at your LFS and it's only a 15 minute drive, it will not create any ammonia spike when added to your tank.

I second what deklin says
when I started my 35gallon I added cured live rock (tons of coralline) from someone elses tank, and I saw an ammonia spike. But when I started my 10gal nano, I added coralline covered live rock I got from another established tank, and saw 0 ammo, trites, and trates. but that's just me. maybe something didn't acclimate well in my 35gal.
but it couldn't hurt to test for ammo and all just in case IMO
