Hi I think I have a similar problem to what someone else is where the ph and temperature are in conflict. I have 3 temp probes, 1 ph probe. All was working fine until a little while ago when the ph interface wasn't being recognized. Will at AO replaced it and the new one worked perfectly for 1 week.

Then I woke up one morning and it said my temp probe3 and my ph probe were disconnected (both were still connected). so I reconnected them and basically what is happening is that whenever I leave just the temp probe3 connected everything is perfect. As soon as I connect the ph probe it says temp probe disconnected and never recognizes the ph interface. As soon as I disconnect the ph interface the temp reconnects - despite being connected all the time physically. I have tried disconnecting both and reconnecting both physically and in the menu and nothing seems to work.

I want to try and delete all out of the controller and reinstall all but don't want to have to go through manually adding all devices and programs. I do have the saved file from pc on my setup but last time I tried this it would not let me reinstall the setup from the pc to the controller. something about the controller not being the right one for the saved file.

Any ideas???

Forget the saved file and just bite the bullet. Trust me it's a lot less painful in the end.

1 write down your settings

2 disconnect everything except one powerbar.

3 reset the controller to factory fresh :)

4 If you dont have the latest firmware and PC software, now is the time to do an update.

5 reconnect your second powerbar if you have one.

6 Connect each device one by one, go ahead and name it and test it before moving to the next device.

7 finish your programs and do a save.

ok did all this, first the pH interface wasn't recognized - i.e. it didn't do anything when connected, so I just left it connected and came back later. When I came back it caused 2 of my 3 temp probes to be disconnected. When I remove the pH interface they reconnect. Worse!!! than before I did the reconfiguration. I think something is going on with the pH interfaces.

Gilberto are you there????

Yes it does sound like the Interface is dead. Write to Aquatronica support and ask them about an exchange.

Hi bourbon,
I think your pH module is broken, please send an e-mail to [email protected] asking for the exchange.

Bye
