View Full Version : Lime green Sarco? need help asap
Thats what the bag says in an order i just got from IPSF.
Does anyone know what this is? It looks like some type of mushroom with bright green spots on it. Cant get a good picture of it in the bag and to be honest my tank is just going through the cycle again and I cant put it in the tank or it will die.
If anyone is interested local and would like to try it out w/e let me know asap. I dont want to kill it so if anyone is interested in it let me know its about the size of a quarter maybe a bit bigger but it is shrivled up atm.
Anyway let me know.
You can call me if you are near Lebanon/Mt Juliet/Hermitage Area and I can meet you with it.

it's probably just a regular green leather sarcophyton. Same care as any leathers I guess...

thats what i have been able to find out, the only problem is my tank isnt ready for fish yet, much less any corals, wish they wouldnt send stuff like that without asking in advance

This is a green polyp sarco i got from chris awhile back. i love these things. Not a toad, but cool nonetheless. Gary had a very sweet smaller toad with some of the longest, brightest green polyps i've seen, but i don't know if it survived the move. I offered everything but my birthright for that damn coral, but he wouldn't let go of it. This one has grown to about dinner plate size since i got it from chris. Great corals.

Will do chris. I keep waiting to see if it drops anything, but honestly i don't know if sarco's do that like the toads do.
the little one i got had some extremely bright green spots on it, looked almost nuclear green
