I just installed a GenX PCX40 pump in my CL. It was loud as all hell! I'm looking into getting an OR 6500 but max head is 12.5'. How do I calculate the head of my system if my pump supplies an Oceans motion squirt? How many opening do I call it, since it has 1.5 ports open at any given time? Anyone wanna calc the system curve for me? (2) 90 deg ells , (3) 45 deg ells (1) ball valve (1) union. 1' head (outlet is about 6'' above water line for tank).
The OM squirt is rated for 1000 GPH max and the OR 6500 is rated at 1700 GPH at 0' head. Any input?
