we're planning out our stocking listed, and this coral is certainly on it. i'd love to hear some personal experiences and pictures are always welcome as well. they seem to be a fairly slow grower, so if anyone has some large colony pics we'd love to see them.

I have a small teal and blue granny. It seems to keep it's color higher up better.(under 400w halide for first month and now 6x39w overdriven T5's.)
Wish I had a camera, but I'm sure there will be some beautiful pics coming from others!

Ive got a maricultured colony in our store SPS display... its teal with white/blue polyps...

It seems to be a nice grower, I would even say moderate grower.. I have fragged it twice and the branches grow back seemingly quickly...
I love this coral.

Eric, sorry no pics, but when are you setting up the tank? What size, etc.? Let me know if you need any help in the process.

Oh, and the milli i got from you looks like it may come back...it didn't transition well, but I'm starting to see some polyp extension (brown polyps, but its a step in the right direction).

do you have a piece?

well with the work weeks and traveling i've been having lately it's going to have to wait a while...it's funny i switched over to a new office and i can see your place out of my window now ha.

my colors are coming back. the nana is getting it's purple back more and more each day so it's encouraging. right now my priority is to keep what i have and seek out a few pieces to start growing them out. the granny is one of those.

aquatic reef has their sale coming up and last i was there they had some nice AQ pieces... as for the tank it's going to around 90 gallons with track MH lighting...

lmk how the mille does.

nope no pic, that was glazing over a semi-hijacking of the thread. glad to hear your colors are coming back...its actually kinda cool to watch it come back...when i spot fed tonight the polyps were out more than id seen them ever...it will take a few months but i think it will be back.

That tank sounds sweet, it will be cool to see it go up...

PM sent on a lighting question (since you kinda have to have seen my tank to understand the constraints I have to work with).

Here is a piece that I got over a year ago from Atlantis. It sat doing nothing until I put it in high light. Notice how pretty the new growth is compared to the coral I got but I like the contrast.

I'm not sure if all 3 of these are granulosa.
I've had these for about 4 months now and the one seems to want to plate so I mounted it that way and it has grown more than the other 2.

Here is mine. It is half way down under 6x54 watt tek t5 setup. It gets lots of random flow.

Its much larger than this now, but my ORA Aussie Delicate has grown infront of it (little purple tip in lower left corner)... I really gotta do something about all my overgrowth... its a real problem.
