Everytime I change the filters I see these. It looks like a bug shell of a newborn bug of some sort. Maybe they came with the LR?

nice tank! got a 30 myself think i need more LR tho got about 40lbs in it still not satisfied with the way it looks.

it has to be something that's originating in the tank. Isopods? what are those? Do crabs eat them?

they look more like larval cocoons from a land based insect. there always seems to be one or two people a summer in the Gulf region that those show up in there tanks.

interesting. They do look like Larval Cacoons.. I never see what comes out of it though.
