Ok, so how does this 6025 modification work to get more flow out of them? I have read a little bit about it, but I am unclear on what to do to make it work.... also I have read that the 6025's are rated at 660 GPH but have read reports that they are really 750 GPH... can someone elaborate please on BOTH matters?

They are a bit underrated, it was not our intention, the published specs are from Interzoo 2006 which is like the Detroit Auto Show of the pet industry and the data was based on engineering specs and only a few prototypes existed at the time. The actual flow is about 720gph. I don't recommend the mods, it will affect the pump as the 6045 may share the same coil and prop but the mechanisms to prevent them from running backwards are different and defeated by the mods.
