I have a 35 gallon and plan to keep a mated pair of maroons...
I want to know if they will be to much of a bully for peacful fish such as gobies, blenies, etc...

Share your experiences so I can get a idea what to expect...

In my experience with maroons, they don't bother anything else in the tank except each other. I've never been able to keep a pair alive. The male always gets killed, even when I buy them as a mated pair.

you should be fine, but just remember maroons are pretty mean.

i had a small pair female was about 2.5-3" and male was like 1.5-2", had those in my 24gallon nano for about 1 year before i break down the tank.

Mine isn't mean to fish, but she does chase them from her nems.
She won't accept a mate, wish I started w/ a pair.
She has bit the heck out of me a few times drawing blood, but that hasn't happened in a while.
If I put a coral or rock too close to her nems she will push it away or knock it over.

I have 3 maroons and a BTA. Bought the maroons as tank bred juvies. They definitely protect their BTA and I've been "attacked" when doing maintanance. They've been with me for about 4 mos. and one is definitely going to be the dominant female.

Advice will help me decide to keep them or not.

Do you know if black and whites or true percs are aggresive?
