Well I have decided that it is time to get the flatworms out! I am going to use flatworm exit on the 90 gallon tank. I am taking out all the corals and fish that I can get and setting up a 60 gallon tank for the corals/fish that I can get out and have a treatment center there too with less flatworms. My question, I also have a display fuge attached to the 90 gallon tank and it doesnt have flatworms. I am planning on shutting it off from the 90 and having a skimmer on it. But just to make sure they were all gone, because i am already going to great lengths to get them out, i am going to treat the 20 also, and it has macro in there with it. So does flatworm exit hurt macro algae?

Any advice or opinions are welcome!

Matt

but will the toxins that the flatworms put out hurt the macro? I have HUGE amounts of them.

Run lots of Carbon after about 20 to 30 min. I finally got rid of mine after doing a double dose and redosing 48 hours later.

It will hurt/kill bristleworms, snails, and other worms in higher doses. I experienced this after I had to up the dose because the flatworm exit didn't kill all of the flatworms. After trying it a couple more times I gave up, at least they're not in my display tank...
