KRS - LMAS frag swap

I was trying to think of ways to boost the Ky Reef Society, and I think a frag swap would probably be one of the best ways.

I wondered if the LMAS would consider co-hosting a swap.

We'd do it somewhere that would be convenient to other reef clubs, and probably should consider getting one of them in on it, if we don't have enough people to get it going.

Once we had our feet wet and had done one, doing another the next year would be much easier.

Would there be any interest in hosting one late this fall or sometime next spring?

we are actually hosting in November at the falls of the Ohio state park. you guys are more than welcome to come by. if all goes well we MAY be able to do something in the spring as well.

Were you going to have tables for reef clubs?

If at all possible, I think several KRS members would like to help set it up, etc, so we can make ourselves useful and learn how to do it in the process. Think you'll be able to use a couple extra hands?

i am not really sure, but i can check with the others and see what they have to say about it. if nothing else ... i am sure there will be room for some of you to come and set up a few tanks to sell from. dont hold me to that, but i will check it out for you.

Has a date been set for the swap? Have a flyer or any kind of info about it?

yup, that is the one. it is in Indiana, just across the I-65 bridge @ exit 0. maybe 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. the date is set for Nov. 3 from 12pm-4pm, but we are still working out some of the details so things might change a little bit.
