Critique my Aquascape

Need some opinions on my rock work. I have 35 lbs. LR, and 10 lbs of Tonga Branch. I was thinking of making a third island in the middle, but I really like all the hideouts on the sides. All comments are welcome. Thanks.

I like the concept however, I would not leave so much empty space between the rock stacks. Buy maybe two or three more pieces of LR and add it to the right stack. If you bring the bottom right rock from the left stack forward a bit, it will create the illusion that there is depth. Otherwise, it has a very clean look.

I like the idea and did the same for a bit.. but I settled on two piles that were stacked out.. touching no side of the aquarium and put my branch rock in the middle connecting the two sides.

You do need more LR . Its best to leave some space for waterflow. One blocked corner with good flow is fine but debris and matter will collect and if fish and cleanup crew cant get to it ,it can cause a problem later.

Also the fish love a safe place to hide at night and the more options the less confritation in the tank for best spots.

Also if this is a reef tank then some coral would like more shady areas and others may like close to the light . I used PVC and made a ledge or box from it and placed rock ontop. This made a cave that the stock love ,and also provides great flow. GL :)

I like it, I think it will look good win its full of corals, it looks somewhat like to think of the month.

For the most part it looks good. I would add just a little more live rock to the two islands.

Wow..thanks alot guys. Those are very nice comments, and make me feel a lot better about my setup. I am still new to this, so always looking for better ways to do things. I don't plan on doing a Reef Tank in here for quite some time. I have a lot to learn about corals before I start getting them. I still intend to add more LR to the tank as I get money. Thanks again guys.

Leave it be it's perfect the way it is! Too many people jam tons of rock into their aquariums just to find that their corals run out of room!

SurfnFish - Thanks for the kind words. I love the DIY aspect of aquariums. I really like beautiful coral tanks, which mine is not yet. Minus my Xenia you have a FOWLR tank. Maybe I will aspire to have one of them one day :)

I struggle with patience. I'd like to add a lot more corals and maybe another tang. Not really sure if there would be an aggression issue with my yellow tang.

Well I took your advice, and now have no rock touching the glass. I decided to move that longer rock on the bottom right pile, over to the left side. It looks a lot more even now, and I think I've finally settled on a look that I like. I will try and get some more photos tonight to provide an update.
