I have one of those coralife 1 watt LED moonlights. Its been up for about 2 years and have never changed th bulb...it seems like its not as strong now. Do I need to change them after a certain amount of time and if so, where can you get extra bulbs...and are they even replaceable?

LEDs have an average lifespan of 100,000 hours or something like that. But they do have a half life which changes depending on who manufactures the LED. Once you hit that half life you will have to recalibrate it to achieve the same output it had when it was new.

So it is possible that your LED looks dimmer now than it did 2 years ago.

I think there generally throw away, If you can open it you should be able to find a replacement LED a Radio Shack

You could splice in a new DC plug that is say 9 volts instead of 6 that would boost the light output.

That is if you are cheap and have an extra 9 volt plug laying around. :)
