Can I put a large yellow tang in with a sailfin and naso tang? I have 150 Gallon tank. This Yellow tang would be the biggest of all of them.

You'll be taking a chance. Yellow tangs tend to become very aggressive as they age.

Putting a large yellow tang in a 90 wouldn't be the best idea either.

Fish manuals aren't always true. Seeing a fish that can easily reach 5-6'' in a few years isn't really appealing in a 4 foot long tank.

This usually comes down to your luck and the fish but putting a yellow tang in with a sailfin tang probably isn't a good idea. They are the same shape and they might become slap happy with their tails. If you really do plan on getting the YT I'd put it in the 150.

True and not true. The dimensions of the tank is what really counts. If your tank was 24'' x 24'' x 48'' which is around 120 gallons... would that mean you can put a tang in it. :mixed:

Mentor has a Hypo, yellow, and an other tang in his 18"x6'x 22'' for 3 years no problem, all put in at the same time, they are all nurotic!!!!!!!! I have a sailfin and a purple at the same time in a 2x2x4 and all is well. They have there moments, but they are just that.
