Tom,
I think this is the chiller you we're talking about. How do you feel about a used unit? I relize its a refrigeration unit and sometimes it makes sense to buy new and not have a repair or maintance problem.

Thanks Bob

Bob, Mike and i are both using JBJ 1/3 and i love it. We both bought ours used. Right now i dont know how i would keep my tank within a reasonable temp without having to be there all the time to monitor it.

Bob, buying used is the way to go. Only buy local. No shipping. I almost bought that Delta Star from plankton a couple months ago. I can't believe he still has it. I would definately go check it out. Make sure he runs it for you. My JBJ is a year old but looks like it just came out of the box. retails for around $800 I got it for $540. I drove to San Jose and the guy gave me three frags of killer zoos. Good Luck.

I went to Walmart and bought two small fans that run when the halides are on. The tank never got over 80.7 degrees. I also have A/C. I'm really trying not to make holes in the walls or floors. My walls are redwood paneling in the Family Room and I think my last resort will be to make holes.
