I'm just getting started in the hobby and I'm try to eliminate as much stuff on the back of the tank as possible. I have a Remora pro skimmer, and i was wondering if i could put it on the Sump that i built. If so where? also is a 30 gallon sump enough to filter a 135 gallon tank. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

Isn't that skimmer rated for a smaller tank? 40-120?

As for your sump question, Get a large as a sump as possible. I would also look into dividing up a standard tank into a sump/fuge if you don't already have a fuge.

As for your "where" question... put the skimmer in the first chamber where the water from the display overflows into. You want the "dirty" water to go through the skimmer before it goes through any other filters (chemical, mechanical, or biological). If it won't fit in the area where the raw water enters, just put it as close to it as possible. It shouldn't make that huge of a difference.
