I have a 55g Hexagon tank set up and running. I had a Fluval 404 but it broke while moving it and it isn't worth repairing. I have heard a lot about Eheim and have been looking at them. What filter would you suggest?(I have an emperor 400 on there at the moment because that is what I had laying around) I like the features of the Eheim Pro III series, but I would like to find something a little cheaper. I also need to find a new I light. Right now my tank just has fish and live rock but I would like to add some soft corals in a month or two. What lighting would you suggest? It can't be more than 30 inches in length. I like this set up:

Any help would be appreciated!

just a regular hex, or is it some sort of stretch? I think a single 250 MH pendent would work. Whats your budget for this?

That coralife unit is expensive....

Great people to deal with

I would like to keep the lighting under or around $200. I am not afraid to make a DIY system but because I am still new to saltwater would like to keep it as simple as possible. The benefit of the one I was looking at was that it also came with the bulbs, which from what I understand can be expensive.

Not a bad deal
