Bad? what are they? Thought they were detritius but they are not and they are moving too fast to be a worm and they are microscopically small. I can't believe I noticed them. I can't say they are harming the coral as its polyps are extended.

There is no way I could take a pic of them as they are too small.
Any ideas since I am new to this sps game?

Need to start removing the flecks. Or dump the corals.

I don't think so, nudis move like worms, I am pretty sure its just tiny pods as they have fast erratic movements. Also, unless you have an electron microscope to see the little buggers, these are smooth little tiny flecks and don't have those little feathers. The monti eating nudis are larger. I am hoping so anyway.

Electron microscope is used to see bacteria...a plain microscope is enough to see anything that resemples a copepod!!!Just for the record........

No one with a macro lens with camera around. Ive heard the pod thing on montis but never heard of them moving. Love to see it.

monti nudies are quite big. Are't they?

Im not questioning your judgement or mocking you. Ive never seen them in person myself. If your a scientist, then you should put it in your Occupation section of your profile.

Good morning guys :D,(it is a lovely morning in Greece, Europe) yes I am a veterinarian but it doesn't have to do anything with reef science, so I didn't put it on my profile!.
I saw once hundrends of isopods crowling underside of monti's surface but I think they are hiding from predation, nothing harmfull to montis....
Just my two cent ;) .

I would most certainly keep a very good eye on them. How does the monti look?

the monti looks fine all polyps extended. I really believe its little pods so I'm not going to worry about it. Thanks guys
