Besides the one where you remove the output nipple and drill holes in the base of it, wasn't there a way to make it a more random flow pump with an attacthment that goes on the end of the nipple? I couldn't find it on Ask.com btw.

I totally agree, quick random flow is overrated. Gentle wide flow is where its at.

Thats IT! that is what i was looking for thank you so much? Will this fit onto any pump or does it need a certain size and gph. I saw it runnin on an aquapod in a LFS and it looked pretty cool.

"Rotating water deflector applicable, with proper adaptors, to the outlet of any pump or filter."

www.hydor.it

Not sure if they are saying it includes the proper adapters or you would need provide the proper adapters.

yeah it provides adaptors to fit on most PH i have one but it freezes up to much so i just took it off also it cuts down the flow alot.

The "real" MaxiJet-mod is the bomb! It produces an insane amount of flow compared to an unmodified MJ, and the flow is a lot wider than an unmodified MJ.

pbukow, I like your signature line. I often hear from my fiance (in a very sarcastic voice), "Let me guess, you're looking at Reef Central . . . "

Yeah Tell me about it. But we gotta do what we love right? And to be fair, our significant others do need some attention, after we get done on Reef Central of course ;) (I hope she doesn't read this btw:eek:
