individual reflectors in Nova Extreme?

I know there is a thread on here and i just cant seem to find it where someone put individual reflectors in one and im wanting to do it.?

Does anyone have any suggestion as for what reflectors to use?

You could do it but you wont get as many bulbs in the fixture. That means you will have to figure out the ballast rewiring or only use some of the ballasts. The bulbs are closer together in the Novas than any quality individual reflector that I know about.
The Nova Extreme 8 lamp unit for example is only 14" wide. Internally, it's closer to 13" wide. The SLR reflectors are 2.5" wide. I have seen a generic reflector that was 2 1/8" wide.
You can do the math but without moving the endcaps, you could only use 4 of the lamps, at best. Moving the endcaps and you could get 5 lamps back in there using the best reflectors, the IceCap SLR's maybe 6 with the generic reflectors.
