Hi guys,

I am setting up a 180 that will be mixed, but will have a lot of sps and clams. I am going to start out with the two part additive. I am going to wait on a reactor until the system needs it. Do any of you use a litermeter with the two part? What are some of your setups to make things easier?

I appreciate your insights

I place 5 days worth of equal parts of each part A and B in 1 gallon containers and fill the containers with RO/DI water and drip at 35 ml per hour. I use a laboratory type peristaltic pump that has slots for 6 tubing sets. Its a Brinkman that I picked up on ebay for 25 bucks. Rate is controlled by a potentiometer which I swapped out for a fixed resistor sized for the 35 ml /hr rate.

I also drip another calcium solution from a seperate container with the Brinkman pump.

I also drip Kalk but with different pump. It drips at 80 ml/hr for 1/2 gallon per day.

Rates were set to accomodate the evaporation in my tank.

I would always start with limewater topoff, then use an additional supplement if demand requires it.
