Still waiting but I have questions already.

Do I have to let the fresh water rest after production? can I used the same day?

What about the mixed water?

UPS is slow to update their site but it still says delivery 7/17/07.

No waiting throw away the first gallon or two you make and the water is good to use right away after that. Mixed water should be airated for 6-8 hours with a venture powerhead or you will be adding oxygen depleted water to your tank.

If you do some searching here on RC you will find some creative ideas. I use a gravity feed drip system which I fill once a week.
