pump size?

i will be using a one inch u-tube overflow with one inch piping i figured that this will give me about 600gph in my sump....have size return pump should i get.........and any brnads that people enjoy

I have a 1" overflow and use a mag 5 return. 500 gph

It is very rare that one of these "600 GPH" overflows can actually handle that much flow. Keep the return flow in the 200 - 350 GPH range after headloss and you will be good. The above mentioned Mag5 is in that range.
