moving livestock ?

i have a 150 older tank with one overflow...and im changing to a brand new 150 dual over flow all glass aquarium....what i need to do is move over my live stock its not much but its 110 lbs of live rock some hermits, snails and a c.b. shrimp and a maroone clown fish....it might take me over night to do becuase im going to re plumb it and check for leaks so it might take me a day or two....any suggestions on how to go about the livestock

If you have a sand bed you'll want to discard it all but a few cups from the top layer. I'd recommend moving it all into some type of large container like a trash can or storage bin (plastic) with a powerhead and heater. Once the new tank is in place and without leaks add your new sand and mostly new water of the same pH, temperature and SG as your old system. It's alright to let it run overnight and then add the livestock the next morning.
