Is there anything i can do to make this better?

in chamber one on the right i have a sponge, heater and a bag of carbon... chamber 2 has a filter pad on top of the black tray with live rock with a chemi-pure pack under the tray, while chamber 3 just has the pump - i also have another small power head in the tank.

I have the orginal 137gph pump as well as the original lights. I know there is an $80 lighting upgrade that I may do at some point, but any other thoughts? Thanks.

I am interested in hearing what everyone has to say on this as well. I was thinking about buying a Biocube 14 and wondered what mods or advice everyone has.

Thank you in advance.

You could upgrade the stock pump to get more flow for starters. Then I would suggest getting rid of the sponge and replacing it with a polyfilter that you replace every water change. I would then try the fuge mod in the middle chamber. I have done all that in my NC 12g. HTH
