I've finally got my first Lion fish. It's a Dwarf Zebra Lionfish. It's about 3" in size. What type of live food should I feed it ? The LFS I got it from tells me that it has been eating prepared food at the store. I read somewhere that it is better to feed live marine feeder fishes and not fresh water feeders, it this true ?

You can offer it ghost shrimp for a live treat. The fish should be quickly weaned on to prepared foods. What was it eating at the lfs?
They do well on small pieces of chopped shrimp, scallop, squid, boneless whitefish, silversides, krill.
Avoid fresh water live foods. Prolonged use of these can lead to organ damage from fatty build up. They are not nutritious, and you also run the risk of introducing pathogens into your system/fish.
