I had to move my tank across the room. So I took some topdown shot with very little water in my tank. Best topdown shot I've ever had.

I had a low tide in my family room last night but it was because of a hose coming off the skimmer :(

I had low tide in my living room yesterday too.... broke down my old 50g. I love inner-struggle that you go through when your moving a tank..... the tank rim is almost at nose level (when your moving it).... so breathing through your nose you get that sweet low-tide smell.... so you start to breathe through your open mouth.... until the water inside the tank splashes up and gets in your mouth. :D

Funny you should say that, it did smell like the beach. I only like low tide on purpose. I too have in the past an unwanted low tide to put it in a nice way.

I always wonder if this is the missing element to better coral care. Maybe we should do this regularly?

Perhaps, but I'm sure you're sponges will have more than a hangover in the morning..

SHWEEET!!!! picture
being Mr "bay of fundy" I opted to set up shop centrally located over a floor drain in the basement
hoo-boy has that move payed off in spades. I actually sort of laughed when I broke the side of a prop tank out, then I freaked, then I squeegied , a lot.
ps, I'll be right over to steal those green birdsnests
