hello everyone
Im wanting to comine all my lights in to one canopy
they consist of
4 65w pc light
2 175 watt mh
2 65 watt 50/50
2 true actinic (its a coral life light) not sure on wattage
and 8 blue moon leds
is this a simple task id light to put them into a custom built canopy for my 75 gallon reef tank on timers under one full length of the canopy reflector. That way i can have more control and not such a mess of power cords running every where
any input will be greatly appreciated

Sounds like lots of equipment once you get good reflectors in there... I doubt you physically have the space for 8 PCs and two MHs over a 75...

6 of the pc lights are only about 18 inches long so i hope i can stagger them the corallife is the only 4ft length light i have if not ill drop a few of the pcs but do you think it would be a decent setup?

Good reflectors are essential. They will get more of the light you're paying for where it needs to be. They are also fairly big. I think you probably have room for the MHs and 4 of the PCs. That amounts to 8W/gal pretty good if you ask me...

The 120 I am setting up right now has room for two SE 250W MHs and two 96W PCs (also some LED moon lights which take up little space). Those 4 lights with their reflectors will take up the usable space in the new canopy (4' X 2'). That's about 6W/gal. My buddy has a gorgeous 90 with two 250s. I'm trying to emulate his tank.

You can do anything but I doubt it makes sense to try to stuff all those lights over your 75.

Good Luck!
Tim
