I have a Diamond back terrapin living in a brackish water setup. I know they have been documented eating coral in the wild, has anyone ever heard of putting one in a full blown reef tank? I have kept many turtles and realize they eat fish/snails/ect., but I am just curious - could a diamond back terrapin conceivably live in a regular salt water tank?

These turtles need brackish water. They can only handle high salinity for short periods of time.

Alright, thanks for the response. He is in an appropriate setup now, and there he will stay. I just though he might be a GREAT centerpiece on a reef! :)
