Biocube 8 lighting mods

I reset up my Biocube 8 on my desk due to peer pressure. It originally came with the 18w x2 coralife bulbs.

Is there a link to modding the hood to fit a 70w HQI?

Also, I heard that current makes a better PC bulb, Is this true?

Any input would be very helpful. Thanks

Just take off the hood and place a halide above the open tank.

I saw a pic of someone who had left their hood intact. At work, it needs to be closed for obvious reasons. Thanks though.

I used the current bulbs and they were good. Also i have a 70w MH with socket and a bulb for sale, if interested PM.
