Found this guy in my tank last night. First time I've ever seen him.

Considering that he's:

Noctoral
Hairy
Pointed Claws

There's a good chance he's a predator. Bad news is that I left him in the tank and I'm not optimistic that I'll see him again.

Should I catch him - what is the humane way of getting rid of him? I don't really want to kill him....

Cant ID him, but he does not look to nice

well, just keep looking for him at night and create a "spear" so you can stab him if he reappears.... you can always use a trap if you dont like to kill him . Goodluck

If I see him I'm sure I can catch him. I guess the ultimate end result will be death from a spear or a humane capture. There's just nothing else to do with him. Maybe I'll throw him in the sump or something....

Its not his fault that hes in your tank so there really is no need to kill him ;) Just toss him in your sump and let him live out the rest of his life there.

Does anyone know what this guy is? Yeah, I'll try him in the refugium.
