Brown stuff on coral

I recently purchased a Green Goniopora coral and it was doing fine, now as of Wednesday night, there is ths brown fungus looking stuff that started growing on it. It started near the base first and has gradually moved up towards the top of the coral. Any ideas?

Yes it does.

Sounds like brown jelly. The jelly should be removed or the coral should be fragged away from the infection and iodide dipped.

I can clean it off and then dip it in iodine and it should be fine? Will it spread to the rest of the tank?
