i had 8 sexy shrimp in my tank for about a month (4 for 2 months), i recently added a few new fish i inherited from a fellow hobbyist, could any of my fish have eaten them...
coral beauty angelfish (had for 2 months, but has recently started to pick more)
yellow tang (i think this could be my culprit, but arent they vegitarians?)
2 clownfish (female is quite pushy, recently started to attacks hands when they go in)
red/white striped perch
the other thing is we moved the rocks around slightly and added more rock/coral, that was about 1 week ago, and i havent seen them since, but we only added these new fish (clowns and tang) about 3 weeks ago and i think i noticed a few missing (hard to tell, i could usually count all 8, but the last few times only saw 5, now none)

I am a major newb, But I know one thing about shrimp, They like to hide and require hiding spots. And since you aded new coral and live rock I bet they`re just hiding. One idea is next time you`re cleaning you might move your coral and liverock just to see if they`re there, and then move the coral and liverock back.:)

With shrimp so small its possible that any of the fish listed ate them. Pearch would be the one I first pointed my finger at.

humm yes the perch is quite a little character, wouldnt put it past him and his beady little eyes!
the shrimp were the first in my tank (before fish) and it was hard to count all 8 at one time anyways (usually id see 4-6 out, even when no fish) but since they have all dissaperead, i guess ill never know for sure, but im pretty sure they are gone.
also moving rock to look isnt really an option, its a 65 gal (3' but tall) and i have about 120lbs lr in there, stacked up the back of the tank, id have a major landslide if i moved anything!

seen a purple tang eat a pair of cleaner shrimps before so I guess a yellow and some sexy's is a distinct possibility

red/white striped perch
I have seen these perches(about 1 1/2"-2") attack banded coral shrimps (about 2"-2 1/2" inches) when ever placed together so I would not be suprised to see them eat a sexy shrimp.

humm ok thx guys, i kinda like the perch, and even if i wanted to get rid of him to get sexy shrimp again, theres no guarantee he ate them and i woudlnt have them dissapear again via one of my other mouthy lil fish, that and i couldnt catch him in my tank short of ripping it apart, so i guess i wont be bringin sexy back anytime soon :( (haha sorry couldnt resist- JT)
