Very hard to tell. But id say montipora confusa.

My first reaction was porites. Any polyp extension yet?

Very little.The polyps are orange if that helps any.

lost power for a week in an ice storm so the coral is no longer.

Dammmm. very sorry to hear that. I saw what was happening in OK and the thought of that situation with a reef tank made me sick.

I suppose I really should buy a generator but don't have the coin for it right now.

If its any consolation, I just set up a new reef after a 5 year sabbatical from the hobby, and doing things the second time around is MUCH quicker and so far the end product is MUCH nicer with lessons learned the first time around.

Best of luck getting restarted.

Thank you.I did find a place to house some of my corals and fish but everything else died.I have never smelled something as bad as my fish tank.I cleaned the sand and rock so let the cycle begin.

That looks like a Psammacora sp.
