running my euro reef hard at wet skimming each day produces around a gallon
i just started up my tank with some live rock as well as base rock
its about a week old.
running phosphate media as well.
pretty good flow as well.
do you think turbo snails will do good or a small tang like a kole tang..
also running cheato in my refugium as well at night on a different light cycle

Most likely that is where the problem is coming from. I personally don't use any water above 1 TDS in my system. Keeps the nuissance algaes at bay. I'd take care of that first. But with that being said, turbo and astrea snails are a good glass cleaner. And for a 150g like yours a Tang might be a nice addition. A kole or yellow would be a great choice depending on your other inhabitants. ;)

i was throwing up the idea of a tang as well
i had 4 before and never any hair algae ... go figure..
i think i will do the snails first and then go for the tang .
my birthday is coming up next month so maybe i can ask my wife for a tang ...

Sounds like a good plan. Get on that DI replacement too. I really believe in getting to the 'source' of the issue to cure it. ;)
