View Full Version : Worms?

I picked up a rock in my tank earlier tonight to move it slightly and I noticed what looked like long stringy pieces of snot on the bottom of it. As I watched I realized they were some kind of white semi-clear worm. They were long, thin, and slimy in appearance. I'm guessing this is not good... any ideas on what I should do?

They're probably fine, but without a picture, I don't think I'm going to be able to say much useful. I'd ignore them.

Yeah, I tried to snap a picture of them but they slithered away before I could get my camera. If I see them again I'll try to take a picture.
I just read that coral banded shrimp eat worms... I have one of those, so I guess I'll just let him do his job.

Hey, thanks for that great link. It looked like a chaetopterid to me, which sounds like is harmless.
