do many people have a phosphate reactor and a fuge with macro in it for nutrient export? do you think its worth it?
i ask because im thinking of turning my sump into a fuge and i already have a reactor so i wanted to know if it was worth it to do so.

cheers

I run a reactor with rowaphos and I also have chaeto in my sump. Haven't had any problems here.

I have a small fuge (8 gal) and a phosban reactor. I haven't experienced any problems. My chaeto in my fuge doesn't grow much (if any). I guess it depends on your fish load, LR, LS, etc...whether you will need that much nutrient export. I have thought about getting rid of the fuge and just running the phosban reactor since I am not exporting much through my fuge. I only have 4 fish in my 55g. The fuge is nice for letting my pods reproduce though.

yeah thats what i thought, even if it doesnt grow much its good for the pods...
