After a recent growth spurt, my green spongodes and my purple cap are now touching. There is chemical warfare nightly, and the spongodes is clearly winning. Other that the fact that that edge if the cap is dying and may eventually be overtaken(which I can live with), is there any reason to attempt to move these guys, because I'd rather not. I.E. the chemicals affecting other corals etc.
Thanks,
Adam

I would just frag them back if they are killing each other. I doubt the chemicals will affect other corals but I don’t know that for sure. Some people like to let their corals fight it out and some people like to frag them to avoid corals touching and burning each other. Really it is up to you...

I suggest you run Carbon to help remove the chemicals during the warfare.
