Hydor Koralia question.

Are most people running these without the rubber magnet isolators or are you leaving them on? They seem to really take away from the magnets power and was wondering if anyone is using them without the rubber pieces on? Just purchased one and am getting ready to put it to work in my 75.

By rubber magnet isolator do you mean the suction cup? If it is then I do leave them on. When I got my #4's I just put them in and made sure the suction cup held...the magnet does help a bit on my tank but the main thing that is holding them on there is just the suction cup.

Yeah leave the suction cup part of the mount on. I can remove the outer magnet part and the power head will stay in place. I have two #3's on my 90gal tank and they are holding in place great.
