Faded spot on fishes forehead? (pic)

I just noticed today a faded white spot on my orange-shoulders forehead. I just added some new rocks and re-arranged them quite a bit, there a chance he just "scraped" his head adjusting to the new rockwork?

It looks like a scrape to me and should heal up quickly if your water is good.

I agree with kahuna. As long as he is healthy he should recover fairly fast.

Although it's a scrape, sometimes when fish get stressed they tend to lighten or darken in color.

yeah my orange-shoulder is changing color a lot from almost solid black to his normal colors
