I have finally decided on Aquactinics which was a major ordeal in itself as I have read too much and am so confused!

Now I do not know which one to get.

I have a bubbletip anemone now in a 55 gal with about 2 1/2 of sand.

I want to keep clams in the future.

I would also love to have the moonlights but this is not a requirement!

Between the model names and the MH/T5 combo I am just lost.

I would like to get this ordered today if at all possible so any input is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I forgot to ask what the probablilty of heating the water enough to need a chiller would be for any of the units.

Chitwnfish,

For a 55ga tank you have two options in using our fixtures. Either the 48" MH/T5 Classic or 48" TX5 (5 lamp T5 fixture). Either would work very well for what you currently have in your tank and keeping clams in the future. If you decide to go with our MH/T5 Classic use 175W MH as 250s would be an overkill (Eye Lighting 175W Aqua2 15K lamps are a good choice). Moonlights can be added to the MH/T5 Classic (we are working on them but they can be added later down the road as the wiring and plugs would already be there). You can use any of our fixture without worrying about needing a chiller.

If you have any other questions please feel free to write me or you can call me during the week at 203-234-9286

Thank you,

Tom
