Hey Jesse, do the AA's have a tendency to turn skimmate green? I finally got my skimmer back online and last night I added AA's - my skimmate was a dark green. I remember once many years ago I had a more powerful skimmer and decided to use some additive, might have been Essential Elements - and my skimmate the next morning was nuclear green. This one is deeper, but still very green.
And its purely anecdotal because of the amt of changes my tank has seen. But I would put money that these AA's have helped attain deeper colors - mostly notice in the blues/purples and even the greens. It makes for a richer color, like the SPS flesh is just thicker and healthier. Have no idea if I should equate this to healthiness, but I like it. :) Good stuff for a good price.
