I was wondering if anyone has any success raising clownfish. I have a pair of mating clownfish that do lay eggs and the eggs hatch but from there I can't keep them alive. I have tried catching as many as I can see but they will stay alive for maybe a day and then die. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

People are defientely having success at raising the clowns. Learn the food chain(micro algae, rotifers, baby brine shrimp) and what the clowns eat at what day of age. For starters the small fry need live rotifers as ther first food.

Take a peek in the Clownfish & Anemone Forum and the Fish Breeding Forum here on Reef Central. There's tons of information. In addition, pick up the book "Clownfishes" by Joyce Wilkerson for some great information.

It can be done, you just need to read alot and figure out the eating schedule.
